It’s hard to believe that less than 3 weeks ago I was walking high in the beautiful Lake District in a Tee-shirt and shorts taking advantage of filling up my empty water bottle from various streams!...fast forward to today and there was a hard frost on the cars as I took the dog for his morning walk. A feeling not made better by a text from my son who is doing his ‘year 11 ‘work experience’ in Tenerife where, he tells me the temperature is 30 degrees!This is what we have come to expect in early Autumn living in the UK.
